CURATED PROJECTS

TABOURET EXHIBITION

Collectible Design Showroom
Tabouret Menorca, 2024.

@Karel Balas
@Emily Cantin
Celebrating excellence, artistic merit, and newness in collectible design and craft art,
the new Tabouret art house emphases the importance of design and craft.
The first Tabouret edition presents works by more than 50 designers and artists worldwide, who draw from the wellspring of imagination, inspiration and intrigue.

Each piece embodies creativity, monumentality, culture, and meaning, while also blurring the boundary between art and design. Many venture into the realm of abstract, pushing new perspectives and quiet consideration into clearer view. A conscious, regenerative  spirit is infused into numerous works, with repurposing designs, of revolutionising  objects of everyday.

The prominence of biomorphic forms, peculiar shapes, and inventive processes all push matter to its limits, alchemising the desire to explore and experiment.click for article

MOR DESIGN & NANIMARQUINA DESIGN EXHIBITION

Collaboration with Openhouse Magazine for
3 Days of Design, Copenhagen 2021

@Mariluz Vidal
« In Openhouse we believe in opening doors, in welcoming and sharing what we have and what we do. In every step we take, we reflect the values we are guided by :
tradition, identity, nature and community. »

Through these meaningful bonds, sharing love for art, architecture and design, Studio Torbina in collaboration with  Openhouse Studio produced very special « open house » event.
Located in the center of Copenhagen, the design apartment was a relaxed place open all day where we hold a series of talks with the designers behind the iconic pieces dressing our place. The house was open for three days where visitors attended talks and spent time
in our living room while reading the last edition of the magazine.

With the aim of displaying all the pieces by MOR Design in the most cosy and realistic way, Studio Torbina dressed an apartment with the brand new pieces of the brand that, together with the contribution of nanimarquina, Aure Studio and Frama, looked as if it were in an authentic home.
